Not terrible, just young. This happened before you were born. Terrorists drove a truck bomb into Marine barracks in Beruit Lebanon early on a Sunday morning killing Marines & Sailors in their racks.

Hey RocknK, I just noticed where you're from. I knew you were from CA, but.....well God bless you friend. Say, did they ever get those nut cases down out of the trees out there? I think ole "Bubba" down the road from me could have cleared that situation up the day after it started. LOL. :)

They are down, & so are the trees. Took over a year! Those fruitloops actually existed in a tree for that long. Heck, I get sore going camping with a air mattress & ice chest full of beer!

I only hope they don't try the guys that cut the trees down for murder. Some of the stories I see coming out of the town really make me wonder about 'em. Bet their mama was real proud of 'em though.:hysterical:

When time came to finally remove the tree people they erected a big scaffold around the tree & cops went up to arrest them. Not before they threw the contents of their "honey buckets" at the police, or should I call them popo! :p I say the officers showed remarkable restraint in not shooting the poop throwers. Isn't that what monkeys do at the zoo??
