This one isn't mine to eat :p.....made it for the in-laws;) don't try braiding the icing it takes WAY to long.....took me about 6 hours to make it start to finish.....my back is killing me....but I like it:rolleyes:

This is racking my brain though, I'm trying to figure out exactly how you did the braiding??? It really looks like you actually braided it, I can't believe it.

Thanks guys.....the in-laws loved it! Said it was to pretty to eat so I cut into it and handed it out.....I didn't do all that work for nothing LOL....My Sis-inlaw wants to me make her baby shower cake so that will be my next adventure.....now to get ideas....it's wont be for a while though she's only 4 months preggo...

you should google baby wooden letter block cakes. martha stewart has this amazing design using fondant that i wanted to try.. i tried it with buttercream, but fondant just looks smart!

I like this one.....But instead of a teddy bear it will be something western since his room will be done in western theme

Oh the good part LOL...the bottom layer is butter pecan with butter cream icing and the top layer is devils chocolate with triple chocolate icing.....
