Ain't no right nor wrong in today's world-

Truth is what you make it to be. :cowboy:

Truth is what-ever you believe.
Your choice is the right choice for you.
WE are free in America to walk any road we choose.

"I got out of a cult- which was plainly a cult- by studyng its history. "

That's scary. I'm glad for you. Perhaps that's a story you will share with us someday, too?

spin off from I Wonder thread-

Once upon a time I walked down the wrong road. Only - I thought it was the right road at the time. I couldn't bring any of my old friends over the mountain with me, they all stayed behind. I have never shared this part of my life with sucess; only strife.

This will be interesting! Don't dredge up any memories that will be too painful though, Mollie. We don't have to hear the story.

I went to this church in weep-y. When I was brave and strong and true- I lived in Durango Colorado- but when I started crying I moved to weep-y Idaho. In weep- y I got
stronger than I was when I was strong- but I did'nt know it then.

So I went to this church. I recognised the wrong road by the things they said- the same stories I had heard before in Durango. This bug must be everywhere? It is. Or it was
back then.

I read a book about what the Satenist believe; 3 things.

1) You can have whatever you want. My church believed you can have whatever you say.

Wow- those are the same- or close to it. Wow.

2) You are equal to God. Many believe this philosophy today; and not just my old church. What we believe is what is- my truth is what I believe. Your truth is what you believe. And truth is no longer truth; but truth is what we believe.

3) Have faith in your faith. Your faith is what moves mountains.
My old church had tapes on the same subject. How strange is that?

Did I fall for a doctrine of demons?

What book did I read that exposed the historical root?

So I walked away from the church of the wrong road in Durango,
and I challenged the leaders- and they devoured me.

And I walked away from the church of the wrong road in my little town in Idaho;
kept my mouth shut and I cried.

But then I thought what is worse - to be blind following blind

or to see and stray from the blind?

To be alone on the right road is better than to be together on the wrong road.

But -

What book did I read that exposed the historical root?

Oh? That book was A Different Gospel by D.R. McConnell.

If one is a Christian, then any path that leads from
the bible Path would be the wrong road.

There are many wrong roads and only one right road.

The right road for you is the road that you choose is
what we say, in America these days.
