I've Been Busy!

Hi everyone!!!

Well, the summer is goin on and on. Thought I would check in with you all! :)

I started the summer off at a summer camp in Kansas :) It was great fun, but It did not end up to be a good fit for me. I tried my hardest and was not able to change myself to make it work. I moved back to Missouri and worked at the summer riding program our school puts on. it was WONDERFUL! Great riders, great instruction, AWESOME opportunity for the young'ns. I am so glad I was able to help them take the next step in their riding careers.

Now I am here in colorado being a groom for a big show in Estes park until August 9th! :) Super fun! Beautiful places, beautiful horses!

Then in Aug I start school again, until December when I graduate! I will be working part time at a very nice barn in St.Charles, and if it works out there, I could be working there full time in January! :)

I have been through rough times before, some REALLY rough times, and I feel like I have earned this run of good things, working really hard and always being kind and hard working really does pay off!

Not to mention I also broke my nose last sunday riding..... we forgot to pick up our legs before a jump... the horse did not break anything but did get pretty cut up. :( and is now on antibiotics, but healing. :)

The horses are getting excercised, the show starts wednesday!!! I am staying in a beautiful Condo with a great view! :)


Quest- I kind of think of you like... a college buddy, even though we didnt end up going to the same school, we started the same time! :) When do you graduate???

It is great! I hope later on I have some more time during the day to take pictures! I took some, will share tomorrow (I have to upload them) but they didnt turn out the greatest.... there are so many buildings shoved down in this town it is hard to get good ones :P

But there is a tramway thing that goes up to the top of one of the mountains I will take one day and get some pics! The showgrounds is big, and I want to get a good shot of allllll of it! :)




and yes, I am very lucky to be in this town and having this job and everything I have. I count my blessings everyday and try as hard as I can to pass on happiness and help people out as much as possible
