I don't get some people

I just checked the website of the rescue that we fostered a few horses through. I still talk to them and told them I'd be willing to help out in the winter if they have hay issues. ANYWAYS... this was just posted on their site:

WARNING: We have received information that there is a man (Ray or Raymond) in the Janesville, WI area who is saying that he has a horse rescue and using the name Rolling Rock. He is not affiliated with our rescue in any way. The information we received also states that he is taking horses that people think are going to a rescue and bringing them to Canada for slaughter. If you have any information regarding this situation, please contact us.
This is also a good reminder to please check out the rescue that you are donating your horse(s) to. Visit the rescue, check out their website, talk to the humane officer (or Sheriff's office) to find out if there have been complaints about the care the horses are receiving. Ask questions.


I can't believe some people!?!?! I hope they find out who he is and they catch him and no one else will be fooled by him.

That is just horrible. I wonder if he thought they wouldn't catch on. I really hope they catch him before another good horse has to lose its life.

There are leeches like that everywhere. I'd like to *say* their aren't...but...this is the brutal truth. For every pleasure...there's a pain. We pleasures just have to do everything we can to keep the pains at bay! It's a fact of life...and that's why we have prisons. ;)

There are always some people willing to try to stick it to anyone who has a bit of trust in them. I don't know how they live with themselves. There must be total lack of any conscience. Hopefully what goes around comes around and eventually they get what they're due in the end. These cheaters are what we call in law enforcement "job security." It's such a shame!

That's horrible.. I do hope that message gets around to everyone. I dont see how anyone could do such a thing-- people donate their horses hoping for good homes but instead get their horses taken to slaughter.. :(

people like that make me sick, there are other ways to make money, just get a job at walmart or something, don't take it out on animals
