This is pretty funny--it's an Obama endorsement with Howard and Andy Griffith playing their Opie/Andy roles, and Howard and Henry Winkler as Richie and the Fonz.

If you think that liberal Hollywood is conspiring against you, don't watch--but I thought it was pretty cute. Ron Howard shaves his beard and dons hairpieces--which frankly he should do all the time, because he looked pretty good in a hairpiece!

Maybe we wouldn't have been on such a divisive path if folk on the left stopped calling us wrong headed.

That's as far as I got.... walkin' with him around the golf cart in Hollywood trying to tell me he's been suffering somehow. :innocent:

Just sayin' is all.

I'm not saying it's wonderful or convincing or whatever--I'm just saying it was nice to see him share the screen with Andy and Henry. And wowza, most of the threads in the political forum here are implying that Obama fans are worse things than just wrong headed. Don't dish it out if you can't take it!

Well, if they're name calling while complaining about how divisive 'things' are, then it wouldn't be real convincing, would it?

Well, if you want to argue that the other side is being divisive, of course you say they are wrong headed or some such thing. You are criticizing their behavior.

I just think it's funny. Life is divisive. There are issues that divide us onto one side or the other on nearly everything. That's life.

I liked it more for seeing that trio do something with those characters again--I'd have liked it if it had been a McCain-Palin endorsement.

It was cute. I enjoyed seeing those old characters. I really enjoyed that Andy Griffith show.

It was a great cast. Ronny Howard was brilliant, and Don Knotts just cracked me up!
