Isn't it so pretty! I think it is a rug but it is way thin so I think it is a rug you hang on the wall........hummmmmmmm It's shimmery and something I definitely wouldn't want to walk on it but it's HUGE 4ft tall and 5 ft wide

That's not a rug - it's a TAPESTRY... and a very pretty one at that!

They were very popular in the 70's - unfortunately I grew up with a HUGE (8'x5') one of ELK in a meadow in our living room... I still giggle when I see pictures of that ugly thing!

The one at our barn seems to be a mirror image of yours--is it two-sided with the image going the other way on the back?

I've got one on the wall behind my TV- it has two horses rearing on it- maybe stallions fighting.
