So I figured I would tell you all...

Seeing as I've had a couple of threads about how frustrated I've been with guys and my non existent love life and then seeing it everywhere, etc.

Well, I am now 100% over the guy who I've liked for so long and am very happy to be. I still love him as a friend but nothing more and I'll tell ya, it feels wonderful!

I am also dating a pretty great guy (I don't think we're at the boyfriend/girlfriend stage yet - we both have been out of the relationship world for a bit so we're taking it slow). I met him at work, he's very laid back, hilarious, makes me feel comfortable, and we just hit it off from the start. Much hasn't happened yet so I'm holding myself back from squealing like a little girl but I don't know, I don't really have any doubts or concerns as of yet about this. It just feels really good, I hope it continues.

It was so sweet. I mentioned that I really liked Big Boy, so for my birthday, he took me to it. He hated the food but I thought it was very sweet and so much better than going somewhere big and extravagant and/or expensive.

Oh and he's already met Dixie, and loved her. :D

I hope things work out for you with this guy, sounds like you guys have hit it off pretty well. Sometimes I feel like giving up as well. Dated a few times, but I never really "clicked" with anyone, not that I wouldn't mind having some of them as friends, but they never really viewed it that way i guess.

Thanks Quest. That's how I've been feeling for the last three years. I had a bad relationship and then after that it never really seemed to go my way. Every guy I liked; either nothing happened or they didn't like me. For example, my one friend that I've liked. I had feelings for him for over 4 years, finally told him over a year ago...aaaand nothin'.

I also had a really bad date where he texted through the entire movie and then had the nerve to tell me to "text him later" when we said goodbye. That was the last time I really talked to him :)

I hope you get yours soon, I really do. I'm holding my breath for this one but am very happy about and like I said, it feels different. There's no pressure to be somebody we're not, we're both big goofs who have bad jokes, are loners who get nervous meeting new people, and love to get in arguments about Sunkist and Orange Crush tasting the same or different (I think different. ;) )

Wow! I'm soooooo happy for you Annie you deserve someone who will treat you extra special. Plus he likes Dixie :D. Horses are always the best judge of character, Trouble LOVES my boyfriend Nick, so that's one big approval he has gotten.

I don't think Quest would be a good judge of character for a guy. He'll take advantage of anyone if anything edible or mom is in close proximity :D I went out a few times with a guy in Wyoming and he REALLY wanted to go riding, I ended up leaving though but wasn't interested in him really anyways
