My husband and I work for the same company and our company has several facilities overseas. Well work sent my husband and some other engineers over there to learn some of the new methods they are using and possibly bring us more business.
Well they are visiting a plant in Germany and also the new plant that was built right across the border in Austria.
Well every day I have either gotten a call or a e-mail. However, its been about 36 hours since I last heard from him, but the General Managers said he heard from one of the other guys so we knew they were ok. So I got home and there is an e-mail waiting for me from him. Guess they had a lot of meetings and then one of the guys over there decided to take them for a tour up in the alps.
Well you all know my passion for the haflinger, and haflingers come from Austria. So he said they saw a TON of haflingers, but unfortunately there was no shoulder to the road so they could not pull over to take pics. He did take some pics from the moving car, but doesn't know how well they turned out.
I'm jealous! I'm stuck here and he gets to see golden beauties in their homeland on work's dime! Unfortunately in my current position there really isn't any hope of me being sent over there anytime soon. However, I did get to bond with Willie all week. :)
However, the e-mail also said he would be home tomorrow night, which makes me so happy. I miss him!
