OMG I am overwhelmed! To put it mildly. I have so much going on with work and school too. I got a planning kit today and omg it is insane how much goes into planning a wedding. And the money, ugh.....
We set a date April 4, 2010. It isn't set in stone but I think we are going with that :) I went and ordered my dress today. It is going to take a while to get in my size and it might need adjustments. I am worried it isn't going to fit. They only had it in a four and that was too big. I went with a two...I hope it works.
I pulled out the planning guide earlier and I don't even know where to begin. AHHHHHHHHHHH

You don't HAVE to do any of the stuff in the planning guides.
Planning guides are how lots of these affairs spin way out of control. :)

LOL I know but I do have to do most of it...The planning guide isn't crazy or anything it is just the basics. Location, reception, cake, clothes, etc...the main things.

A 2??? You're worried about fitting into a 2? Okay getting off subject.
Just take it easy and don't stress yourself out. Remember, this is supposed to be fun!

I can completely sympathize with you. I've been doing this for the last 9 months! My wedding is now in 12 days (HOLY CRAP)!!!
So I might not have much free time, but do feel free to PM me if you need advice or just to vent a bit! Because believe me, the littlest thing will stress you out if you don't have someone to just vent to and help you walk through your thoughts!
And if you can set aside like a task a week, you'll be suprised how fast you get through them. There's alot you can do early, then you'll have an empty period in the middle, then alot to do at the end! So be sure to enjoy your empty period! Also be sure to set aside times to get away from it all with your fiancee. Even if it's just a quiet dinner and a rented movie with the phones turned off... it will do wonders for your mental abilities!
But just hang in there! It will all get done, and it will all be beautiful.... I'm not sure who I'm trying to convince at this point... me or you!
Best of luck and congrats!
