"Steampunk" is a sort of catch-all term for a number of various projects like that. This laptop is a stunning example of it. There's just something so very cool about modern technology paired with 19th century style.

A quick google of "steampunk" will show some other wild projects that people have done. I love this stuff.

A friend of mine cued me to the website today and said that the "steampunk" stuff started in the 1980's and had something to do with Orson G. Wells?
