I got done taking a shower this morning and I was drying my face and got it hung in the towel. I got it pretty good, it bled for a while. It was just about done healing to! :mad:
I don't know if I should take it out or not. It hurt so bad, and now it is really tender..
Oh its my bridge if you didn't know. The piercing on the very top of your nose, between your eyes.

It'll probably be angry for a few weeks again - do SSS 1-2 times a day and it should settle down :). If you develop the dreaded 'bump' then place a stewed camommile teabag onto it and it'll get rid of the bump and stop the crusties (which will come back with a vengance now!).

And count yourself lucky that it didn't get ripped out D: One of my friends pulled out a healed wrist microdermal on the bottom of a table yesterday - it was gross and bleeding everywhere x.x

[shudder] But every time I see a piercing... I think "What would happen if someone grabbed that?" -or snagged it. Sounds very painful. I hope it clears up soon.

LOL WB - everytime I get a new piercing my grandma ALWAYS says to me "If we got in a fight I'd grap that thing and rip it out!" ..every time...with out fail.

Many years ago, when I was about 12 years old (so we are talking a VERY long time ago....LOL), I snagged an earring on a tree limb while I was out trail riding..... :eek: Needless to say, I never wore dangly earrings while riding my horse after that!

WashingtonBay-Hehe it doesn't look to pretty either! My dad always says hes going to snatch it out lol. He hate the way it looks. I'm still not so sure I like the looks of it lol.

allie0-You know I have been thinking about taking it out before this happened.. I'm not so sure I like the looks of it on me. But I remind myself all the trouble I went through to get this thing lol!

Shadyhill-Ya know..I don't know how much I want to keep it..I have a scar now from snagging it.. So its either leave the piercing in or have two scars on the side of my nose. :C

Thinking about it, you may find that it now rejects and you have to take it out - if it still bleeds when you clean it a week later, you should just take it out. If you use bio oil after you remove the barbell it should reduce any scarring :).

Good luck with it! I'd love a bridge but the rejection rate of surface piercings is just too high for me.

I used to have my eyebrow pierced....and in college, our riding classes were all trail riding....branches and hoops in the eyebrow don't mix well...snagged it only one time and after that I slapped a bandaid over it for any other riding classes! Hurt like HECK

Yes, I do have a scar there.....well, actually my ear was torn enough that I couldn't do pierced ears any more.....I still have the tattered looking earlobe too.....altho it is a small area.
