Nothing too special planned, although I have been thinking about which trails I want to take her on tomorrow.:D I'm hoping it doesn't rain *crosses fingers* so we can go on the "waterfall trail ride" I decided on.:) We'll be packing a lunch and there's a nice place to stop and tie the horses by the waterfall. It's a really cool place and I want to show it to Annie.:) So I think we'll go there tomorrow, weather permitting. Today we'll probably just hang around the arena mostly so she and the horses can get to know each other and we can get some pics & vids for you all.;) And tonight we're having a campfire and roasting some hot dogs & marshmellows, lol.:D

Well just to let everyone know, Annie is here and arrived safely.:) She got lost a few times (which isn't a shock because everyone gets lost coming to my house, it's so weird.:p) but overall her trip went smoothly.:) She is really awesome and we're getting along great.:)

She likes my horses too, hehe. She loves Beauty, and says Dakota is a sweeheart (she's sitting beside me, hehe.:D). We took them out to the arena and she rode them both. Dakota was really good and she thought he was a really smooth ride, and Beauty reminded her a lot of Dixie.:) Beauty actually did REALLY well today and *drumroll please* SHE CANTERED LIKE A NORMAL HORSE!!!!!!:eek: :jawdrop: :p :banana: :D :clap: :greengrin: :happydance::cheers: Annie did great with her, and Beauty really responded well to her.:) She also loped nice for me, which was a shock. I was so happy!:D lol, I'm a dork.:p

We got some video and a few pics, but we'll get more later.:) And I'll be making a video of course, hehe.:D

Well I've got some bad news.:( Annie got a call from her mom who told her that her dog Snooky isn't doing too good.:( Annie has had him since she was four, and now he's 15 and has taken a turn for the worst. She is driving back home now to be with him. I don't blame her at all, I would do the exact same thing. I feel so bad for her, and for Snooky.:cry:

Annie, when you read this, please don't feel bad about leaving early because I totally understand. I know how much he means to you and I'm the same way about my animals. I would have done the same thing if I were in your shoes. I hope everything works out for you and Snooky. If you need to talk just call me anytime. (((hugs))) And maybe we can do this again some time. I had fun while it lasted and I think you're really cool and a ton of fun to hang out with. So another time, 'kay? Whenever, just let me know. In the meantime, hang in there. And call if you need anything or just want to talk. ((((more hugs))))

Anyway, we didn't get many pics or videos because of the unexpected turn of events.:( I only have two or three pictures. I did make a video of Annie riding Beauty, but it really sucks.:doh: Definately not one of my best. My camera just really sucks and takes lousy videos... maybe that is a result of the three or four times it's been knocked off barrels and fence rails and landed in the sand while filming in the arena.:innocent: Ya think?:rolleyes: So yeah, it sucks.:doh: And I didn't know what song to use because I'm not sure what kind of music Annie likes. But I was listening to music while I made the video last night so I just chose a random song I liked. Do you think that's the reason she was loping so nicely? Did ya guys get her to lope in your barrel saddle? Just curious! I heard treeless saddles are extremely comfortable, I want to ride in one. xD

I don't know. We didn't use my barrel saddle on her at all yesterday. Just Annie's treeless. Which was really comfy. It's a pretty cool saddle.:)

Beauty was being kind of lazy (for once in her life:p) and that was the first time I ever rode her in the arena with Dakota there too, so who knows, maybe that had something to do with it? I don't think it was the saddle becuase Beauty did try to speed up, drop her shoulder, and do a little attitude head toss a few times when we were loping her, so it wasn't like she was completely perfect. Definately a huge improvement though. Maybe she was just in a really good mood.:)

Hi everybody.

Snooky is fine, it wasn't as serious as we thought. I won't go into details but everything is good, it was just really scary. Thanks so much Lizzy for understanding...I just had to be there with him.

I've got a few videos and some pictures too, too bad I wasn't looking at the camera at all when you were taking pictures! :)

I had a fun time for the short time that I was there. Lizzy is so very nice, as well as her mom and horses. Dakota is a sweetie pie and I just loved Beauty! She reminded me so much of Dixie and Lizzy has done very well with her.

Oh wow, Annie, what a relief! I was really worried about you & Snooky. I thought about calling you all day but I didn't want to bother you if the situation with Snooky was as serious as we thought it might be. I'm so glad to hear that's he's ok.xD
