Is Vick in?? If so, I need permission to leave for one week!
I'm doing fair tomorrow and I am EXTREMELY nervous. This is my first time ever showing, my first time really being in the spotlight while riding in front of a bunch of people. The thing is, I have never had a single lesson in my entire life, I have learned everything from you guys and watching people. I'll be competing against people who have had lessons, have been riding since they were little, and are on seasoned horses. Lyric and I will both be going out there with a clean slate! The good part is though is his previous owner said she took him to a few shows in the past years and he placed 2nd in barrels..? Something along those lines, I don't know how many she took him to or how often he placed, Haha.
*deep breaths, deep breaths*
And Prodigy.. I am so hoping he'll be a good boy. I'm not really worried about placing with him, especially with him having the ugly cuts on his back legs and an unpulled mane, we probably wont place. I just want to get him the experience.
I am hoping to god Prodigy does well on the trailer ride over. PLEASE GOOD THOUGHTS ON THAT! This is his first trailer ride and we are using ace on him.. Please don't harass me on that, this will not be a permanent fix to holes in his training. I am still working on the loading and the type of trailer I have makes it all the more harder.
