As soon as Dad wakes up, we are outta here!

Me, I've been awake since about 4:30. Just could not sleep. So it's tea and porridge for me.

And then.... the races. Hooray! Haven't been to BC since 2003 when it was here on the West Coast.

Awful bummed I missed out on yesterday's races because it was the females running. Zenyatta! 9 for 9 this year! YES!

I've got my DSLR all charged up and ready to go. With 2 CF cards, and two different lenses.

I wish I could go. I missed the races yesterday since I was out the whole day.

Is it televised? Anyone know the times and channel? I'd love to see Curlin' dominate.

Whew!

And we're home!

It was hot as blazes, and I hoofed it quite a bit between the saddling paddock and far turn by Clocker's Corner, but we had a great time.

Pictures will be forthcoming. I took about 300 of them, so I have to go through and edit.
