Good morning all!
Anybody up yet? I have someone coming to see one of our basset hound puppies; so I have been up and and about a little while now. Got coffee and Pillsbury cinnamon rolls in oven!

The Knox County Horse Park is having a weekend Halloween party. Today supposed to be casual riding and a hog roast later and tomorrow is a costume class and fun shows. Hope weather cooperates. We had rain last night--still cloudy, but supposed to get a little better--but windy tomorrow. The on Monday could be cold enough for snow flurries!!----NO NOT YET!!!

Mornin', I've been up for a while....already did some laundry and vaccuumed a bit....now it's time to sit down for a bit.

It's cloudy and cold here today, if it doesn't rain I want to get out to the barn!

Where is everyone this morning? I've never had to start the morning thread before! Oh, well, here goes!

Not much new around here- we've got a winter weather advisery, complete with wind, rain, and snow flurries coming in tonight. It already looks like the clouds are starting to come in.

Pancakes and sausage for breakfast, nothing special. Anyone eat anything unusual for breakfast this morning?

I don't drink coffee, so I can't share any of that for a wake uo, but I have plenty of Coke on hand for those who need a caffeine fix!

Not up to much today- I might make homemade tortillas and have tacos for supper- yum!

I'm going to go ride Tobey in our lesson, then ride his owners' other horse to get him exercise too (she is outta town). Then I'll probably do some chores around the barn, muck stalls, clean tack, etc. and hang out there for a while. Afterwards I just need to stop at the tack store and then I'll be home and needing to find something else to do!

Actually I've got a huge stack of Horse Illustrated, Practical Horseman and Horse and Rider magazines I need to cut out the useful articles I want to keep and toss the rest of them. Maybe I'll do that later.

Morning everyone. I got to sleep 11 hours last night!!! WHOO HOOO!!! I was in bed the same time as my daughter at 7 pm. It was great!!!!! I feel really good today too.

Not sure what's going on today. The weather is rainy and windy. Hubby, my brother in law and my father in law are out putting up the new pasture fence. *DEDICATION* ;) So hopefully that gets done soon. I want to go out and see it when it's done before the horses get turned out in it. I might want to make a few adjustments. Hopefully not though. I'm just hoping for no more loose cows!!!

Good morning ya'll! I've been up since 8... doing research and cleaning. I've decided the combination is the ultimate way to get something accomplished. I get bored doing research, so I switch to cleaning... I get bored cleaning I switch back to research! :D I've actually accomplished stuff this morning! :clap:

Lucky's still hoping I'll come back to bed and snuggle with him/keep him warm. Optimistic mutt. :rolleyes: My brother and his girlfriend (whose mother dropped her off here at 10) are hoping that I'll take them to the mall today... but that's an hour long drive in Saturday mall traffic... and I really don't think it's going to happen. I did offer to take them to the square and to thrift shops so they could look for clothes for halloween costumes. :cool: I'm just not a mall rat.

Morning everyone. I'm waking up for the 2nd time today. I ended my 24 hour shift this am with a call at 530 am (we get off at 6) and my relief wasn't there. :mad: But anyway, that was totally BS but oh well. After the call I drove the hr ride home and went back to bed after getting a shower! OF COURSE! LOL.

Most of my activities I had planned 4 today have been cancelled due to this "monsoon" were were "supoose" to get! Yep it rained 4 a bit today went to bed it was raining ~ woke again this early afternoon & tadaaaaa nothing but sunshine & wind. Not even really cold! :mad: Although I welcomed the fact that I was able to go BACK 2 bed today, I wanted to do my other activities more! GRRRR silly weather! Tonight 2 yrs old birthday party, pumpkin carving party then off to a bon fire late tonight! Looks like the monsoon will not be showing up anyway.

Have this extra day off to spend with the family. I'm hoping everyone wants to go out to the stable (I do)
Finished all my halloween decorations last night, just have to carve a few pumpkins some time soon.
Note to self, "NEVER BUY HALLOWEEN CANDY TOO EARLY, Kids eat it before halloween:(
It's a beautiful sunny day with high of 82* perfect weather to enjoy the day at the barn.

Good evening! Hope you're all having good Saturdays!! The wind's kept up since Thursday and doesn't show any sign of blowing itself out yet...It'll be a fun lesson tomorrow :)
Had my first horsey contact for 2 weeks :O seeing as I couldn't ride or volunteer last week, very refreshing. Jumping Gerry is so much fun!
I need to start planning my half-term week holiday D: so much to do, so little time! A friend has invited me out to see & ride her horse(s) so I MUST squeeze that in between work rehearsals and outings with friends and family :O busy beeee.
I'ma go read more threads, you all have fun :)

Was up at 5:30am, fed and rewrapped Gracie's booboo then it was off to the racetrack. :D
My sister was looking at some horses with her two students. On the way home we went saddle shopping for Vicor. Picked one out, got leathers, irons, bridle and reins, came home, put on the breeders cup (recording)
Tried the saddle and bridle on, bridle yes! fits well, very cute (cob sized :rolleyes: ) saddle... too narrow... :rolleyes: my saddle is a hair to wide, this saddle a hair to narrow....SO!!! BAck to the tack shop tomorrow to return saddle and leather. We're just gonna get a pommel pad or reverse wedge until he grows into my saddle.
Now I'm just watching tv and typing as the breeders cup is about to go off.

Good Afternoon everyone! Sorry I didnt get on early.. I woke up, drove back home from school, went and rode ben, came home, showered, studied and here I am! Ben slipped on the concrete barn floor this afternoon.. very scary! he was down on all fours, but got right back up and was fine except for a little blood spot.

im going to try and get some more studing in, then tonight my friends from school and I are going to a club in seattle... dont expect me to post early tommorow!!
