Ok, so the time has come! I'm getting married on Saturday! And needless to say I'm a giant ball of nerves and stress! I'm not at all worried about the actual marraige part, I love Tim and that not a question in my mind. But I'm worrying (and unfortunatly snapping) about every other part of the wedding. I'm scared to death I'm gonna forget something huge! It's very overwhelming trying to pack to go to the hotel for 2 days, and the wedding, and then a honeymoon departure on Sunday (I know not smart, but it was a gift). So right now I'm pretty sure I'll get to the church without any shoes, or on my honeymoon without any underwear!
And now I just had a realization that I have no idea what I'm doing with my dogs through all of this! I've forgotten to call and make Abby's reservations at the trainer... I pray he held her spot, and I'll call tomorrow. And my friend was going to keep Cornbred for me, but she's in the wedding. So I have no one to take care of him for 2 days! Oh crap!
I also forgot to order my rehersal dinner outfit from sheplers until yesterday. Now I'm stuck praying that it shows up!
But to cheer myself up, I'll ramble for a minute about a few good things! I finally found some wedding night clothes I like! And I found some breyer minis, and using some scrapbooking stuff from hobby lobby put a veil and tie on them to be the toppers on the grooms cake! And after a few fiascoes my horseshoe topper for the brides cake is finished and at the shop! I also got the cutest white cowboy boots to wear at the reception! And my mom came up with the best exit idea... we're leaving on our camoflage golf cart!
Pardon the randomness of my post, but it gives you only a small look inside my brain right now. But luckly this is my only night at work this week, I took the rest off!!!
So also please allow me to submit my papers for my LOA through the wedding and honeymoon! I will have the laptop with me but probably won't have much computer time ;)!!!

Woohoooooo the big day is almost hear! Good luck - it will be crazy and frenzied and when it's all over you'll be trying to remember who all you talked to and saw at the wedding. But then comes the good part... NO - not that, RELAXATION and unwinding!;)

Reminder, the most importnat thing you HAVE to remember is to say yes!! If that part goes OK and I expect it to then nothing else in the world matters. Let other people do the worring. And if they can't figure it out then let it go. It really just doesn't matter in the end.
I hope you are taking lots of pictures. You work so hard for so long and it go by so fast. It is the most money you will ever spend on one day of fun. So enjoy it.
OK, we will give you time to get married, go on your honey moon and come home and a day or two to settle in.... but then we EXPECT PICTURES!
Have lots of fun, and remember the only people who need to walk away happy is you and your husband. No one else matters.
Please do some dancing for me!

Girl I'm in your boat!! Three weeks or so to go for me and I have so much to do it's not even funny. Getting married, going on the honeymoon and moving into a new place all at one time. I'm not too stressed right now but I'm sure it will hit me like a brick real soon.
I can't wait to see pics of the wedding, all your custom country touches are going to be awesome!!!! Woohoo :)

Everything will be fine and if you do forget something, it won't be the end of the world. The most important thing is that you enjoy the day. Best wishes!

Thanks ya'll, you're really helping me put it in perspective! What started as a simple little wedding is now 300+, and we've filled up 2 hotels!
I'm going to try to take pics on my own. Or throw the camera at my SIL and let her do it! But no matter what I do have a photographer, and for what we're paying there better be billions of pictures!

Eww!! I'm excited for you!!!! Weddings never go perfectly!!! It'll all be okay!! I can barely remember all the things that went wrong during my wedding. . . Hmm. . no I remember clearly. . .family showing up late and walking down the aisle to their seats with my bridesmaids!! My inlaws showing up 2 1/2 hours BEFORE the wedding and wanting to know where the beer was. . . then going to the bait store and buying bear and chips to wait for the wedding to start. .. there's a lot more. .but now they are just funny memories. . .
It'll all be great!!!! Can't wait for pictures!

i found putting disposable cams on the tables worked wonders because you get things people never think of unless your a kid with a cam. have a GREAT DAY and NIGHT!!!!! it will be FINE!!!!!!

WOW, didn't I just read that you got engaged? WOW that was fast! Good luck and enjoy your special day. As Miatapony said, disposable cameras on the tables will be your best gift to all.
Again, congrats and can't wait for the pics:)

hahaha Gaited, no that wasn't me you just read about. We got engaged back in December!
miatapony - I wish I had the money for disposable cameras! That'd be too funny, and a little scary with some of my family!
EW - OH MY!!!! Well I guess I can just think about yours if anything goes wrong! And you're right, in the end it just makes funny stories! Of course my biggest fear right now is the rehearsal dinner, I know nothing about it! My future MIL has excluded me from all the planning, all I picked was casual attire and BBQ to eat. So I already told my brother and uncle if she's not serving beer, they're welcome to bring their own in from the truck (always stocked) as long as they bring me one!

oh, and I make no promises, because my home internet is acting up. But we're finally having our engagement pics taken tomorrow on the horses! Nothing like waiting to the last minute, huh? My mom's doing them so hopefully I'll get to post some!
And I need to show off the new stuff! I bought myself a new dressage saddle, and bought Tim a new barrel saddle as his wedding present!

OMG EW! that sounds funny now but I bet it wasn't funny as it was happening to you on your day. It is perfectly normal to be stressed out and nervous hoping everything will go according to plan and you won't forget a thing..But sometimes it does happen so try to make the best of it cause that is all you can do. Like others said, a few years from now you will look back an laugh or maybe not even remember:huh:..Disposable cameras is a great idea. My Niece did that. I think you can get them pretty cheap at Walmart.. Just enjoy your day and have a blast on you Honeymoon. Where are you going?? Pictures on horseback! Can't wait to see them. Oh yes want to see the cake too!:)

Our honeymoon will be 4 days in Gulf Shores, AL at the beach. My parent's accountant gave us these nights at their condo. And then we'll travel back up to my families lake house for some more fun in the sun!

That was so generous of the accountant! So again... Deep breaths, stay calm, and have fun! Good Luck girl!

I actually LIT my veil on the candle at my wedding!!! I thought it was funnier than heck!! All it did was burn a tiny hole in it, Bob saw it and I got it out and we went on with the ceremony. I wore street clothes to the rehearal and my dress to the dance afterwards. People make such a tahoo over weddings.....how much are you paying the photographer - that is such a rip off, we asked a relative to do it.
