Wow! thats a lovely organization. Only if I was half decent at crocheting. I'm surprised I've never heard of it! :p I live so close to the windy city I hear about tons of organizations!

Thats a really great thing you do donating to it! :) :cowboy:

thanks remali & ponies rock101
i don't knit or crochet but i do like sewing with fleece. i had this no sew hat pattern that was cute and easy....ya just can't help but smile/laugh at it! they say laughter is the best medicine and it's sure been gettin' our friend joe through his chemo treatments with fantastic results! brings a smile to me too with every one i finish up...i make adult and kid sizes in a variety of prints...www.joann.com has tons of cute fleece fabric and now my computer room does too!....can't pass up the sale prices and being able to make 3 hats from a yard of fleece for the price of a hallmark card!
here's our friend joe in his happy head hug....

I love that picture of Joe with his hat!

I can't knit or crochet or sew, but those hats are so cool! It's a really nice thing to do for people going thru such difficult times. I agree....laughter is the best medicine, it's gotten me thru some rough times....I always tell people no matter how tough things get, you have to keep your sense of humor.
