Well, I'm gunna make this quick! :)

Right now I'm babysitting my dog Izzy's brother. His name is Zeke and they are litter mates, but it's not my dog! BTW- they are cocker spaniels.

We went to the dog park yesterday and there were only 3 other dogs there. Smaller dogs too. Well everytime one of the other dogs would try to spell his well..behind...he would tuck his tail turn around and yelp and snap at the dog!! :nono:

WHY IS HE DOING THIS!? I felt bad for the other owner's dogs and I was a bit embarrassed cause every other dog was being sweet and gentle and being nothing but cute!

HELP PLEASE!

It is normal for some dogs to not like other dogs noses up their hinney.

He is telling the other dogs NOT to do it, so dont be to alarmed.

The more a dog is socialized, they seem to just sniff back.

We get alot of dogs that come to the doggy motel, and at first, nope, stay outta there, thats MINE dang it...lol. After a bit they are fine, yet there are those that just dont like noses in their hinneys and the other dogs stay away from that spot.

Dont be mad at him for saying no if he is not used to being socialized like that.
Give him some time to be around them more.

I am soooooooooooooooooo glad us humans dont have to meet and great the way dogs do....ugh.
