View Full Version : This performance is sick
YouTube - "ABDC 3" -- Boxcuttuhz, Week 1
I adore Lydia Paek the girl of the crew. She has moves!
I love dancing like this. I so want to get into hip hop dancing.
I love the ankle twisting move, and the choreography at the end.
The new season of ABDC come's on the ninth! (my b-day) :p

This performance is sick
Is this a new compliment? ;)
My first thought is... if it's sick, why would I want to watch? - I'm so square...

OKAAY - so if a performance is actually "sick"... i.e. they juggle live kittens on stage or something, how would you describe it then? ;)
..Hmm. if its actually sick I would say uhh.. XD
I'll get back to ya on that one. -walks off slowly-

They have pretty cool moves :)
When Britain's Got Talent was running, these two made me laugh and go wow :) I think you might like them (the talking stops, pretty soon, or skip through it to the actual routine:p)
I'm gonna dig out the amazing, immense dance troop that won..
But here was my personal fave:
YouTube - Britains Got Talent - SIGNATURE - Audition - Billie Jean
ETA: Here are the 2009 winners; Diversity. It was very close between them and another dance troop, I couldn't decide who I liked best!
They are insane!

Here is the group Flava: I loved them :)
YouTube - Flava - Semi Final - Britain's Got Talent 2008
And here is the good old George Sampson, who is not only a legendary dancer.. but also he's so cute! ahah :p
this is my personal favourite of his routines, and I love how even though he didn't make it the first time, he won the second and he didn't give up! :)

Juggling Kittens
Well, I dont usually say ''sick'' as a 'good' term, we kind of have our own languagey stoof in my area xD So I'd call that sick, but you can kind of tell which context people mean it in usually judging by what they are talking about... :innocent:

Juggling live kittens is "sick and wrong", imo.
ETA...I wouldn't say "sick" either, my sister probs would tho. She says "sarky" as well, instead of "sarcastic", which really does my nut. I feel so old fashioned compared to her >.< and I'm only 3 years older!!
George Sampson was sooo amazing JTM :) my sister was crushing on him for months after BGT.
I actually watch bits of ABDC :P we get like, ooooollllddd series on TMF. I do like seeing dancers, they are awesome! I wish I'd stuck at Modern Dancing for longer than two gradings...

I wish I'd stuck at Modern Dancing for longer than two gradings...
I took modern and hiphop classes, did shows, it was great fun. But in the end, as I became more experienced it got to the '2 shows a week' through the summer and training for 4 hours every weekend. When I began it was a few hours a week. I wasn't prepared to give up Billy-time, and everything I've worked so hard for with him to my ''second-best'' hobby. My dance teacher asked me why I "couldn't be arsed" to attend every dance show and training practise when I told her that I might not be able to be as regular as the others, but was happy to be a 'sidelines' dancer, just learn the moves and routines but never perform, not be totally involved in the routines etc. She didn't understand why I was putting horses first. She actually said something like:
"Horses are easy, you kick, go, then pull and stop. There needs no practise. Horses are trained and know they're jobs." At which point I thanked her for her teaching, said goodbye and never looked back. It was a shame to quit, but I have my priorities and they are non negotiable.
Oh I liked the first vid. it had me giggling!
The group flava was good, although the stupid camera wouldn't stay on the stage so I couldn't see all there moves. And is that really his mom!? She looks so young, wow.
Dang George Sampson has moves! that kid is adorable, glad he made it.
But omg Diversity is my fav. of the vids. you posted! That young kid is my new idol!! XD So cool.
