Thanks!
Lol, silly horses the rest of the herd was right out there with her. Trigger comes begging for mints very often. He doesn't try to come in though. And he comes alone. This was a first time she came to visit. I bet she would have walked right in if I let her. I was trying to stay out of the picture and the fruther I got the more she came in. :D

Aha, that is so adorable! Nice :) Did she get the door open herself? Because that would be a great (or not so great!) trick :p

Too adorable...I bet she would have come right into the house if you let her.
Very cute! Hopefully she won't start pawing at the front door like my dog used to do to when she wanted to come in! lol

:) Thanks everyone!
No, she didn't open the door. The storm door is impossible to open for an animal.
I doubt she'd start pawing. My horses don't paw at anything. Trigger has been comming to get mints for months now - he just stands there. He has some patience though. He planted himself in front of my door for 30 minutes before and didn't move until his mint arrived lol.

Aw cute! Are they free to come up to the house whenever or did you just let them in the yard?

LOL! That's great..so does that mean you have a pasture that surrounds the house?

That's very cool. At my old house the barn was attached to the house and we had dutch doors from the stall into the kitchen so we'd leave it half open all the time for the ponies to stick their heads in. There was a mirror right in front of it and they'd sit there for hours making funny faces at the strange horse in the mirror.

Not sure how to explain it - it's not exactly pasture surrounding the house - the pasture has a gate that I leave open. The whole property is fenced in though. So they are free to graze anywhere they wish.
My poor husband has put up with possums living in our bath tub, tarantulas on my night stand, cages with rattlesnakes wherever you look...I don't think horse peeking in the door can possibly bother him lol.
Just curious what do you do with the rattlesnakes? Are they pets?

I look at them. :) Kind of like when people keep fish in aquarium. You don't touch you just look.

Crystal, if you come all the way in the house, you have to wear slippers. It's the rule.

So cute!! Sounds like you are quite the animal lover!!!
That is funny. It looks like there is an invisible fence she will not cross. My horse would probably go straight for the aquarium.

That's what she was looking at in the first picture. There is an aligator in it and it caught her attention as it jumped in the water.
I think if it wasn't for our shoes in the way she would have walked in too. When she stepped on them it surprized her and kept her out. :)
