OK I will try this again, first one messed up.

Cane, Jonathan and I made it home fine. Cane is definately feeling better as he is being a complete turd. He loaded on the trailer fine and then decided to pound, and pound and oh wait, pound some more. GRRRRRRR. He then figured out that it would be more fun to destroy mom's favorite BMB hay bag that she won years ago with Jake and pound that into the ground (I hardly ever haul with a hay bag, and this is one reason why). So we had to stop and I crawled in and took that out. I could have just beat him,:p the turkey.

We stopped at an interstate rest area to grab some lunch and eat in the truck on the way home. Well guess who pounded so bad a trucker came over to check on him. SO I stood there talking with the trucker for a minute and then Cane figured out that "Mom, is not paying attention to me with this pounding stuff, maybe I should stop." He finally did. The guy asked me all about him and knew QH's so we talked for a little while.

I am talking hubby out tonight to supper to his favorite place. I am then going to wait until his mouth is TOTALLY FULL of food and mention that instead of the $4000 low end of the estimate it was more towards the high end, of $5400. :p:rolleyes: And hope he doesn't choke.

It is good to hear that he is home. Cane must be feeling better if he is being a snoot!! Now lets see some pics please.. I am glad he is doing better. Feed hubby some wine while your at it tonight and maybe a litlle sumpin sumpin and he won't mind the bil....:innocent:

IKWYM, waiting for the right time to drop the vet bill bomb on hubby, I had to do the same thing with Kabota's bill.................

Hubby is definitely wanting to pursue getting Rum insured after our colic scare this weekend. I will be checking into the info you gave me a while back, wish you could get some sort of commission. Would be nice wouldn't it?

Rum- you are right, some commission would be nice, to help cover the bill especially.

Hubby thought I was kidding on the bill, ummm no. I had to show him. Not happy but okay. I have to have the vet come next week to remove stitches and then in a month to check and inject HA. I just keep reminding myself it is only money and he is worth it......... OVER & OVER.
