I know it's a little dorky, but I've seen other people make videos of themselves with their horses and they seem pretty cool, so I thought I would give it a try :) The video quality is kinda crappy and I didn't have too much footage (and I'm still trying to figure out Movie Maker anyway, haha), but hey, I tried! :p These are some of the first jumps Gizzy has ever done, both the "baby" ones and the "real" ones.

YouTube - I Need You (Giz)

If anyone feels the need to critique, it is welcome :) However, I do already know that I need to:
-Keep my shoulders back
-Put my stirrups up (I ride with shorter stirrups in lessons, but I'm working up the confidence to put them up when I'm riding Gizzy around the field... hehe)
-Keep my hands up, and more forward, especially when jumping.
-Stop rolling my wrists.
aaaaand lots of other things. That's why I'm in lessons! :D But constructive critisism is still welcome, if anyone feels the need.

Thanks :cowboy:

Thanks everybody! :D I will have to keep dragging my boyfriend out to the barn to take more videos... muwaha. :)

He does have a cute little jump, doesn't he? XD He absolutely LOVES jumping... actually he likes it a little too much, he tends to charge at them and take off afterwards if I'm not carefull, :nono: something we're working on. But I am glad he likes it. :)
