Our mare Flo is due to foal around the first week of Feb. this is well and good but we recently took her to the vet for breathing difficulties to find out she has COPD. We had started her on spirulina and would give her a broncodialator from time to time when she needed it. Its cooler here now and not so dusty so I was expecting her to be alot better but she's not. :( I'm PRAYING that she makes it to and thru foaling without complications. Do any of you have any suggestions or advice on how to help her out thru this?
She's kept in pasture and we wash her hay before feeding, right now we're giving the spirulina and antihistamines when needed. Other than that I'm at a loss.....
