Well, I just got news that we might be getting a pony..
The story. My Mom has known this guy for a long time.. Lets just say he doesnt have a great reputation(scummy). He stopped my Mom in the store today and asked her if she wanted a pony because if he couldn't find a home for it then he is going to shoot it.. the only reason he hasnt shot it yet is because then he'd have to bury it and he doesnt want to take the time to do that. And I know for a fact he's being serious about killing it, he is no doubt that type of guy. My Mom told him NO and NOT to do that and if he can't find a home for it then we'll take it. He is desperate and my Mom is guessing that we will probably end up with it.
He said it's skin and bones because he can't get to the place its kept and feed it all the time.. He feeds it but not every day. It has been locked in a stall for the past 3 months because it wont stay in the fence (his fences are horrible). Supposedly its friendly and broke, but I doubt its been ridden in a while..
We dont know much about it but we're prepared to take it on. I'm in tears just thinking about this horse sitting in a stall without any food and water.
On a lighter note my Mom's boyfriend is buying a horse.. He's a 10 year old sorrel grade horse, well broke but a little lazy. His name is Ranger.. He is coming next weekend..
Just thought I'd tell you guys. :(
