I have a friend who I am going to help train some horses. Most of them are needing like ground work and up...2 are wild mustangs and the other 2 or 3 are babies...It will more than likely be about 3-4 times a week counting weekends. She had offered me to keep my horse there but I had to work at least one horse every day adn all of them on the weekends...I would not have minded, but with being in college and my fiance 45 minutes away from my house, it is hard to be home every night. My dad said 7 dollars would be good an hour. I said that is kinda what I thought...I thought 5 was not enough and 10 was too much. What do you guys think?

I tell people $10-$15 depending on the horse and I also charge for the gas that it takes me to get out there. Right now I am doing ground work with a yearling filly for $15 an hour/session and the $5 for gas and thats 4 times a week.

I taught my friends and her horse the seven parelli games during the summer. She lives close by so I just charged like $20 for an hour. But if we needed more i'd just keep working with her and her horse.

Don't want to live here.. My neighbor charged me $20.00 for an hour of ground work with Bolt who was green broke and head shy.

Well, I know this lady doesn't have a ton of money and she is only like 3.5 miles down the road so gas is not really an issue. I just need a little extra money for extra stuff, so hmmm...ten is sounding better. Thanks guys. I am going to see the new horses tomorrow and will talk to her!

I just hope she agrees. I will be doing mostly ground work, and things such as getting the mustang mare to at least be pet, petting them, getting them used to humans, and some light ground work more than likely, so I hate to charge too much. I will let ya'll know what happens tomorrow! Thanks again guys!
