Well tomorrow I start school so I couldn't think of a better way to spend my last day of freedom before school than to ride my best friend. I brought my sister along who rode a bit and took pictures. She got very emotional though, because she is still upset about the loss of Joe. Trouble was a bit of a butt, lots of energy and I've realized how rusty I've become in my english saddle. Need to start working on that ASAP...probably tomorrow after school:rolleyes:.

Well enough of my rambling here are a few pictures.

O and also. I suppose you guys can critique these pictures, I've done western riding a majority of my horsey life so english is still new to me. I know my heel needs to be back with my seat, that was fixed after the photos were taken. But none could be taken after since my sister has eye problem (can't think of what it's called) and forgot her sunglasses so the sun was getting to her. In result the photo time was cut short. My posture was fixed after, as well as my saddle moved back a bit.

Bad feet, bad. Too far forward :(

Great pics!

One of the things that will help almost immediately is to stand up in your stirrups. Find the point where you can keep your balance without falling forward or back, and sit down right there. That will help you find the correct position, and get your feet back under you.
