Good morning everyone! Happy Sunday!:)

Not much doing today, unless I want to do housework, which doesn't sound like much fun. I should try to get something done, though- I spend too much time on here!:innocent:

The weather is really nasty here this morning- rain, sleet and wind - I'm getting tired of seeing my Weather Channel icon glaring at me in bright orange, lol!

BTW, anyone else's clocks change automatically in the middle of the night? It really messed up a few of mine with the DST date change- I felt like I was in two time zones!:confused:

I'm eating what we call scrambled egg mess for breakfast, which is basically scrambled eggs with potatoes, and whatever else happens to be in the fridge!

I've got catch up on work today, I might get a ride in, we'll see. It's been damp and windy and nasty around here, and I heard lots of sirens last night as the college students did their annual Halloween party in the downtown streets.

Hmmm...no clock changes that I noted, but I better look at everything. Is this the old DST date or something?

Yes, that would be the old DST- remember when the date got changed by President Bush? I can't remember if it was last year, or the year before, lol.

Some clocks are set to automatically change on set dates, so they're changing a week early, I believe.

Yikes- this means after next week I think, I'll have to start feeding Gypsy at night in the dark!

Just got my first cup of coffee---AWWWWW! Would like to go riding down at the horse park today, but they are calling for pretty high winds later--it's not windy now--I hope it can hold off until evening! I had a nice relaxed ride down our road yeasterday afternoon before supper. Have a great Sunday!

NOt much going on here, just back to work week. But I guess I'm thankful for having a job, especially in these times.
Had a great weekend with the family. We had a nice little trail ride with the hubby, my daughter and a new boarder from the barn. My son was out and about on his quad. What a nice day it was. Really looking forward for more of them.
As for the clock change, that should happen Nov. 3 I believe.

Yup, sunday, gonna get ready for church in a minute, but posted some of Chloe's awards details first, so proud of her. The wind here is at 30 mph and is said to go to 50 or 60 so we're batting down the hatches.

Glad I got out for a ride yesterday- I think we're in for this weather mess for a day or two- they're talking wind chills for tonight, for crying out loud!

Good Morning Everyone! So far my clocks seem to still be set on DST, which is good because so am I! I like DST and always look forward to it in the Spring. After breakfast I'm going to begin working with my new mare. She needs either a refresher on ground manners or to be taught them. Today is supposed to be warm and calm, yesterday was awfully windy.

Morning everyone... errr I mean afternoon. I've been busy this am already. Been cleaning the house/yard cooking lasagna for dinner tonight. BF is changing oil/filters & other stuff to the trucks today. We are busy bees! We had some wicked storms last night as well but it has pasted & have a beautiful day today. I hope to get out later this afternoon to ride Legend. If I get my chores done. I got a lot to do even tons of homework on top of it! :(

Went to 2 different parties last night. One was a pumpkin carving party, I'll post some pictures later. Another was suppose to be a bonfire/house warming party but of course rain postponed the bon fire. So we just had fun playing adult beverage games in the pole barn instead! No pictures of that! :innocent:

Hello! Finally get on here....sheesh

No rain but mighty chilly (41*) & WINDY! Agh I get so annoyed by the wind....

Got to get up to clean house today - spotless cleaning. I can't seem to get the house sold privately, so the ex called a realator & I just got done walking her through & speaking with her. I think we're in a big mess (well, THAT'S fact:() & pretty much stuck that way for a bit but who knows. I'm in a rural area, which seems to hang in there alright during tough times so there's a bit of hope... The house is still not quite spotless but oh well.

Got a roast going in the crock pot for supper with my parents tonight - it's smelling GOOD! :) Went to the movie last night with a couple of friends. Eagle Eye was pretty good, imo. Lots of action/explosion/speed lol.

It's comming to the end of a great day for me, Billy and I went out showjumping today finishing with an exceptionally pleasing round. Clear and in good time =] Relaxed and happy, listening to me! I was so pleased with his progress, it'd been so long since he last went out anywhere (and me for that matter!) and we finished so perfectly :D:D He seemed really buzzing and happy aswell :D

Well it sounds like everyone is having a good day. Just getting on the forum NOW at almost 4 pm!! It's been a busy weekend. The cold weather really got my hubby in gear about finishing up outside stuff before the snow falls. So he put the camper, boat, etc. away in the shed and now he's out on the bulldozer (borrowed from a friend) adding more dirt to the step up into the barn.

I just got done, with his help during nap time, folding/sorting/packing about 15 baskets of laundry!!!! Yikes!!!

Now I think when he is done playing with the bulldozer we are going to take the kids out for dinner since we need a break!

Hi, lovesfortune! I timed it perfectly today--had a morning ride in the sun, leaves falling everywhere. Headed home with storm clouds rolling in. Got Kaylee the dachshund out to the woods, then got home just as the rain started. Not the best of fall weather is it?

Well, I made it to the horse park for their Halloween get-together. pretty fun--- Paint_girl's friend rode CHIC for her first try at barrel racing--no ribbons; but they did good for it being both's first time. Then my daughter and I took a 5-mile trailride with a few other folks. It was windy--but not bad. Hope eeryone else had a good day!
