Okay not in placing but his demeanor....out of 2 yearling geldings we got 2nd! YAY!!!!! I got lots of compliments on him he was the only Perlino stock horse there was a perlino pony....he was very cute.....Tucker took a nap between his classes and I took one with him just leaning on him.....lots of people complimented on how well behaved her was with it being his first show and all.....only thing that he did was more of an annoyance was he was so talkative!!! Seriously would not shut up!

anyways pictures!

When we got finished with the last class which was a color halter class I praised him and treated him like he just save the world and as I walked out of the ring a lady said....."Why did you praise him....he didn't even place?" I replied...."because this is his first show and he did amazing and I wanted him to know that" people can be so harsh sometimes.....I love my boy and he was one of the best behaved horses there!

Great pictures! He is looking really nice! Tucker is turning in to a beautiful horse!
I'm glad he did so well.

If he had a horn he'd look like a unicorn out of a fairytale. :)

Yay Tucker! I can't believe he's so grown up already. I remember waiting for the video you made of him when he was born to load on Youtube, then watching it over and over lol. I think it's still saved on my favorites somewhere...anyways lol, off topic. Great job at the show. And I feel bad for that lady's horses. I praise mine no matter what happens, as long as they try.

That is awesome he did so great!!! I can't believe that lady said that too you!!! What a hag to be so rude!! grrrr...sorry that just makes me mad how clueless people are. He deserved his praise for being such a good boy at his first show and he looks great!

I would rather have the best behaved young horse regardless of if he got a ribbon or not at his first show. I think that he did great and there's only more where that came from! :) Wait tell he grows up some and really blows there socks off with his looks and his well mannered behavior. Your going to have one heck of a horse that has the full package, stunning looks and the training to back it up! Congrats on a great turn out:)

From the sounds of it, Tucker did fantastic for his first show! I really dislike people that do nothing but worry about ribbons and don't think a horse is worthy of praise for a job well done regardless!

He's such a beautiful boy!

What a handsome boy Tucker is growing into. Congrats on behaving at the show. He deserves praise just because that is part of his training. The ribbon would be an added bonus and I know he will get one soon(stupid lady:mad:)
