Only two days until I start at my new school, and I'm really nervous. I've even been having stomach trouble because of it and my doctor is even putting me on a different sort of diet. I didn't think I was nervous, but I am I guess. I don't know anyone at this school and I'm not sure how I'll fit in. My last school was really really small and this one is much bigger. I'm especially worried about the first day. Lunch, getting to classes, trying not to do anything stupid...I'm really scared DD:

you'll be fine!!! Just have fun, what grade are you going into if you don't mind me asking? Everyone will be nervous on the first day. Just try to talk to people, have fun ect. It will be much easier to find friends at a larger school then a smaller one right?! I go to a school approaching 4000 students, so that doens't phase me anymore! :p

Don't worry, It will be good. I just moved into college, and I was nervous, but things are good now. If you just tell yourself its going to be good, it will :) Good luck!

You'll do fine! At my school, kids always make sure to include new kids, so people fit in pretty quick. :)
I start school on Tues, too. (and I'll be a sophmore- lol) Good luck!

Thanks guys. The bus comes in about an hour and I'm trying to calm down. My stomach was hurting this morning so I took some pills, so hopefully that will help. I didn't get much sleep last night, so here's hoping I don't fall asleep in any classes!

Actually...I only ended up going until 10:30. Turns out that today was orientation day for the freshmen. I went anyways and went through some of the stuff, but then I got bored and Mom came and picked me up. So tomorrow's techinically my first whole day lol

Official First Day Update:

Not as bad as I thought it would be. I met a few girls, but they really aren't the kind I hang out with. At my old school, I wasn't really "popular" but I did get along really well with the popular girls and guys. The few girls that I met today are haters of the popular crowd. I really like the popular guys and girls. A couple of guys have talked to me today and they're pretty funny. I do my work and everything, but I am NOT a model student lol. I talk in class, screw around, barely participate, once in awhile text...the usual lol. This girl, Megan, that was the first to talk to me is quite violent it seems lol. She's like "God if Nathan (hottie <3 lol) doesn't shut up I'm going to punch him." And evidently this is normal. Yay. But whatever, I lost her during lunch. I found a girl that I knew and hung out with her. She's fun, but I don't even know if she's staying in the school all year, so I'm making more friends lol. And sometimes we don't get along, so..yeah. At first, I was really shy and nervous, but by after lunch, I was starting to be myself more. Hopefully I'll meet more people tomorrow.

Glad it went better than you thought..... I remember only too well how I always felt before the start of school.....I was always sick (I had ulcers so that added to my misery), but I muddled thru it somehow. I still, to this day, occasionally have weird dreams about getting lost in school.....isn't that nuts?! I am 52 years old and still have those crazy dreams at times.... LOL. Scarred for life from high school..... ;)

I bet by the end of next week you will have met some great people and have found some very good friends!
