Transfer video help

I just bought a new computer and I need help tranfering. I can transfer pic onto my computer but it will not show up so I can transfer video from my card to my computer. I put the mem card in and it will load the pic but not the video. Any ideas. It is a HP computer and a Sony camera.

Just bumping this back up so someone may see it..... I wish I knew how to help you out, but I've never done videos yet.

Try it in your printer card drive, Faith. You will have to go into COMPUTER and look at all the drives again. It won't be the same Drive I like it was. It will be one of the other ones in that same area. Keep looking for folder DCIM.

have you downloaded the software that the camera came with?

I did on my old comptuer but now I can not find it. I just took the mem card out of the camera and put it into my computer.

You might be able to find the software download online. I had to do that with my old camera, because the disc was only compatible with Windows 98, and I needed the drivers for Xp. When I got my new computer, I had to get a whole new camera, since Windows 98 won't upgrade to Vista, lol!

Did your old computer have windows Xp, and does the new one have Vista?
