Soo I didn't get back to my school to do my A-Levels so I'm going to do a course in Media Studies at my nearest Technical College, which will count at 3 A-Levels..

But I have to go to this new place, I will know NO ONE and I'm really worried, I don't fit in ANYWHERE and my last school wasn't the greatest, I made one really good friend who I'll keep in contact with, over the basis of 5 years =/

I'm SO SO nervous! The man who is running the course seemed impressed with me, I told him I used Sony Vegas and he seemed to like the sound of that xD But blehh D=
I don't even know if there is gonna be any girls taking my course! I'm SO nervous!

And I'm hoping my bus is ok and blah blah blah and I get there in time, the last thing I want is to show up LATE.
*shudders*

Any advice guys?
How do you make friends if you're super shy and quiet?

Don't over think anything. You'll be fine. :) just be yourself, make eye contact, and smile. :) that's how I make friends. If someone talks to you just talk back! Don't over think the situation. Maybe do a test run on the bus?? I was 45min late for my first college class (math) because of parking and I was freaking out...but what was I gonna do? There were so many people it was out of my control. Look for people that you may find interesting and sit next to them. I usually like to sit with at the table with the least amount of people. They are usually my type. ;) good luck!I also like to sit up close. It sets a good first impression and at least that way I'm not lost. :p

Like Horsaholic said, just make eye contact and smile and say hi! to the people sitting near you. It's not that hard to say Hi. or Good morning/afternoon to someone and it shows that you are approachable. They may just say hi back and end it or it may start a conversation, you never know. At least you won't be that quiet new girl that doesn't talk to anybody.:p

Trust me Allie, you'll be FINE :) there's probs a few there who're in the same boat, you are not alone! Try wearing a horsey brand top when you go and see if anyone recognises the brand - then, chances are they're horsey too and you can strike up a conversation. even if they don't become a forever friend, it attracts other people and then you'll have a rather large group of people that you can get to know better.
At least, that's how I do it :)

Wohoo I survived :) I wore a twilight top (I dont think anyone in my class rides =/) but i DID make some friends :) THANKS GUYS <3
