What kind of cell does everyone have?
I am finally buying my own since I'm actually getting out now, and I dont know what to get.
I had my heart set on an iPhone(AT&T) but I am out of the service area so unless I can find a place for my billing address I can't get one.
What I want:
*Camera
*Touch Screen
*Wireless Internet Access
*Music Player built in

A Blackberry? [They do have a new touch screen one, I just cannot remember what it is] :/.
Though I do love my iPhone lotseys, you have to take gloves off to use it, which isn't good in the middle of winter :).

I have a Samsung Behold, it's pretty close to an iPhone. I love mine!
It has a touch screen, a really good camera, internet ( \I don't have it on my plan though) and a music player :) Everything you wanted
I have the pink one

My mum has an iPhone, they are amazing! :)
My phone is probably worth under £20 now, is 3 years old, pink, has a good camera and video, calls and texts and does pretty much all I need it to do - it's also a Nokia and seems pretty much indestructible - which is why I have kept it so long xD

Well, my hubby just had a new phone sent to him because his other one broke. He told them he had a "Z9" (Motorola), but they accidentally sent him an LG "Xenon." (thanks, GA accent, lol!)
Anyways, it turns out it's a pretty darn cool little phone. It has everything you mentioned (and I'm sure is far cheaper than an IPhone or the like), and slides open to full keyboard (which I don't care for but you may):

I love my Alias 2, but it doesn't have a touch screen (I'm too scared I would break a touch screen :P I drop my phones a lot.)
That sucks about not being able to get service for an iPhone, I've heard they're awesome :(
Good luck choosing :) Sorry I couldn't have been more help, but if I hear of a good phone that meets all your requirements I'll let you know.

Hey Carla! I too am in the market for a new phone and I think the touch screens are cool but I HATE trying to type on one. I use my nails to type and that doesn't work on the touch screen - I have to use my fingertips and end up pushing two buttons every time. I was wondering if there was a phone with a touch screen and a keyboard - that one looks pretty cool... does your husband like it?

This (http://blogs.jsonline.com/blogs/piblog/phone.jpeg)is my phone. They stopped selling them a few years ago and mine's a little... well, let's say 'beat up'.
I'll get an iPhone when they make them indestructible. I want my next phone to be Verizon's Boulder/indestruct-o-phone. :D
I'm really liking my EnV Touch by LG. I like the qwerty keyboard for silly words and it has a 3.2 megapixal camera which is great for riding and quick shots when I don't pack my camera.

I've got an LG Scoop with Alltel. Honestly, I love my phone. I've only had to replace it once. It was dropped in the toilet once and dropped in the pool then it died so I got another one.
I've got the citrus color! :D

The phone I wanted before I got the scoop was the LG Shine. It has touch screen, camera phone, and all that other good stuff. It's lovely. :) Though, not sure I'd get one now. I like having a qwerty keyboard even though I rarely ever use it. Lol.

Hmm, would you ever consider a Sidekick lx? Not a touchscreen, but good, fast texting! XD

I have this little thing:
http://www.geeksource.eu/Blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/lg-cookie-1.jpg
The LG KP500 - or LG Cookie, in affection terms :P
It's not as fast as the newly released Samsung Jet, but, it costs less than the iPhone and is easier to use than the Samsung Tocco, because it has a little stylus. Sound quality is great, camera ain't half bad (though video leaves something to be desired), has a nice internal memory with room for a microSD card and can get FM radio (at least, over here). And my parents got mine for my christmas last year on contract, so it came with a "free" netbook :D the EeePC.
I keep the plastic cover for the screen on mine, and it comes with a spare, too. Good thing, because I accidentally left it in my pocket with a hoofpick and, well, if it weren't for that cover ;) it's actually really durable too, and it's got like, rubber kinda surface so it's pretty good to grip to, unlike smooth-shelled phones.
Because of the stylus I've halted many-a-time on hacks or mid-schooling to reply to a text when I absolutely have to, so I don't have to go pulling my gloves off. And it withstands a good range of temperatures - didn't go slow in the height of summer or in the dead of winter, during all 3 snow days :D :L lotsa snow pictures were had when I didn't wanna endanger my camcam...

I have the Pantech Matrix and I loooove it. I bought it mainly for the slide out keyboard thingy because I'm a really slow texter and I also use the internet on my phone and it's a pain in the butt to try to type in an address the old fashioned way. It has an mp3 player (with great sound quality) and a camera. It also has internet which is pretty fast, at least compared to some of my older phones. It doesn't have a touch screen though. I personally can't stand touch screens. I get them all fingerprinty and smudged and have a hard time typing on them.

I paid $80 for it but after the mail in rebate it's only like $25 or $30
Middle daughter has the LG Voyager and likes it real well.

OOPS! I'm SO sorry I missed this.
He friggin' LOVES his new phone. He got so many dirty looks from me every time he'd take it out for the first week or so.. I was a little miffed because he got it on "accident." Do you think anything like that would EVER happen to me!? :p
But yes, he really likes it. I like it too.
