I went out to see my friends new horses and she said that the one had never been worked with. He is 6 months, and the lady before had never handled him. I went in and made him run and then stop, and try to let me at least touch him. I finally got to touch him and he trust me enough to let me rub down his neck, and a little on his hiney...I also got the lead on him. I also got him to do a circle by pushing him in his soft spot in front of his hind leg. He was doing circles very well...Before this no one could hardly touch him, and this was the first time I saw him...I hope to make him my project kinda!!!

Well, he is a little paint stud. I honestly do not know much about him, they have only had him about a week! He is a pretty darn smart horse though. I could see him looking at me. I made him run and then would try to pet him and as soon as he would turn his butt, I would make him run. The only down fall is her round pen has been reconstructed into two pens for the mustangs she has rescued. So I had a little rectuangular (spell) paddock. He finally gave up and let me pet him and do all of the good junk I mentioned in the first post!!! I also got down his front left leg a little bit. I am going out tomorrow so I will post again!

Not a problem. This is the first horse I have really trained like this...any other time it has just been do little things, like pet them, run a brush over them, little stuff like that!

I will try to get pics soon guys! I went out yesterday and he let me catch him after making him run for about 10 minutes. I also got him to walk a few steps, he can back up pretty well, ummm...lets see...I undid the lead probably 5-6 times and re-attached it and he was fine. He would not com eto me though. I am also getting paid 10 an hour for working with any of the horses! I'm sooo excited!!!

I hope he continues to do well for me! This is the first horse I will really train. I have only really just done bits and pieces with others before. I mainly cleaned stalls before! So I am sooo excited! I needed a second job on top of that! I can tell ya'll he is a cute little brown and white paint...Maybe a tobiano...I am not too good with the patterns yet! I only know what kind mine is:D
