Yup....they don't mix at all......A squirrel fried himself on a transformer which caught his tail on fire so when he fell he caught my pasture on fire.....so I am calling the F.D. and my husband is out there stomping it out with his feet and gets smoke inhalation and I have to take him to the ER while the F.D. is watering out the fire.....interesting weekend huh? So yeah.....I missed my farrier appointment....:(

Well, I don't think everything is quite so OK for the squirrel! :coffee:

That's what he gets for playing with fire. There's an old saying about playing with fire!

Apparently there is no saying among squirrels about playing with electricity. :coffee:

Not much of the pasture burned mostly cause the fire dept is only 1min away so we are lucky....it was the same pasture the horses are in and that's what caught my attention. They we running around and being loud so I went to go see what the hubbub was about.....good thing I did or it could have been ALOT worse

Glad everyone is okay.

When I first saw this I was thinking "Transformers" like the move things and a squirrel got stuck in one. Boy you can tell I have an 8 yr old son.

I also thought of the toy or movie Transformers and was confused...lol

I am glad your hubby and horses are ok. That had to of been scarey.

Stupid squirrels put the power out here when they fry themselves on the wires.
I hope never to see a fire from them.

I believe the "electricity knowledge gene" has been fried out of the species! :)

Better hope PETA doesn't get wind of this.....they'll make you disconnect your electricity so as not to endanger this species :p:p:D

I was just imagining livaward busy typing this thread while her poor hubby is out tamping down the fire. :D "Keep up the good work, honey!!!" type, type, type, "Looking good there!!" type, type, type, "I'll be right out to help you." Oh, better call the fire department, I totally forgot since I was busy telling the forum about our fire....
