3D - now there's a technology I haven't seen used in awhile! Will we have to have the little glasses?
Interesting. I can't say I'm a huge fan of Burton or Johnny Depp.... they're talented to be sure, just darker and creepier than I like in my spare time.
I love the original Willie Wonka, and cant' stand to watch more than a moment of the new one. I am not as pre-biased in the case of Alice.

Am I weird, but Alice In Wonderland and pretty much all fairytales (other than the REALLY nicey nice ones) scare me. Worse than horror movies.

3D is gaining popularity WB...Coraline and Nightmare as well as UP have been released in theaters in 3D. It's actually digital 3D in the theaters and you wear large "tinted" glasses that aren't distracting to watch out of of...but when you get it at home it's the old fashion blue and red stuff.
I am a BIG fan of Johny Depp and Tim Burton lol I like that dark stuff. However, I HATED the new willie wonka as well and love the old one.
LOL JTM you're funny!!
Miatapony...that's so interesting..Japan is always way ahead of us.

Basically
I mean how much do I lvoe both Johnny Depp and Tim Burton? The cast is AMAZINGGGG... even just Stephen Fry playing the Jabberwock (I'm a big Fry fan :D)!!! I'm really interested to see depp's take on the Hatter!!!! I love that character...
Lol JTM, yeah, they are kinda terrifying in a way, but that's what I love. Dark films that make me shiver are awesome films. I still really, really want to see Coraline.
Not sure about 3D myself, I haven't seen a 3D film since I got my contact lenses tho - I used to have to wear one pair of geggs over the other and that really, really annoyed me. So maybe I'll do it for this one? Haha. Anything for BurtonDepp :D

I watched the trailer and I liked what I saw! I'm a big fan of Johnny Depp too. I think he is perfect for the part of the Madd Hatter.

My wife is like that too. She thinks that most fairy tales are way too scary. Seriously. No joke.

Just like the way "Ring Around the Rosie" is such a popular kid's song, but it's about the Black Death. 0.o Creepy.

The opening words, "Ring around the rosy," represent the skin lesion associated with the disease that appears as a bright red, or rosy, ulcerated spot surrounded by a ring.
The next line, "Pocket full of posies," has superstitious origins. Physicians used to carry scented herbs and flowers – usually posies – in front of their noses in an attempt to ward off the plague. Traditional 17th century London physicians wore long robes and a long beaked mask with posies stuffed inside.
The final verse, "Ashes, ashes, we all fall down," symbolizes death by the plague.
Although this is apparently questionable if it's really true.
