View Full Version : I rode my horse today !!!

OK so everyone knows that Runner has navicular in his right front and i did a tildren shot 6 months ago. well ok hand walks everyday since for 20-30 mins... and today i was like ok im going to saddle up and ride him. So i DID we didnt limp till we crossed this gully full of rocks and runner sliped alittle bit..... but after a litte walk out he was fine again! I was so HAPPY that i thought people that were driving by yes on the roads in base houseing .... lol were laughing at me..... because it looked like it was my first ride ever .. the biggest grin on my face EVER. sorry for the HAPPY DAY but i needed to share.

im still in 7th heaven ... i feed him tonight and NO limp in his stall .. that is good ...so i think im not gonna push my luck to far but i will try for a short little jaunt in the morning...

I wish i had anyone to take a pic for me but then all i had with me was my phone ... i did take one of him after his wash off .. but i left my phone in my car i HOPE and it is at work with the hubby .. so as soon as he gets home illl post it .
