Just read that US military made attacks into Syria to try to stop the influx of foriegn fighters crossing the border into Iraq. I guess the Syrians are pizzed! Well, it sucks to be Syrian.:whack:

actually it is the first time we used piloted aircraft. we have had boots on the ground for several years as well as predators in the air. These events are very real and dangerious, if the election goes as the bas@^#&rds in the press are trying to manipulate you will have a lot more than your wallets to worry about.

I agree rocknK. I also find it very interesting at the timing of it all and the way the media is handling it. However, this could be a bad thing for the dems instead of a booster. I think that Syria is a worse threat to our national security than any country we've dealt with in years. There are a couple of more we need to put on the list and start kicking butt. We have the troops & supplies there now, might as well do it now rather than pay to have it all sent over there again later. These are very trying times we live in and we had better pay close attention to every single nation that would or does support radical terrorist for the purpose of attacking U.S. citizens and other democratic societies around the world. Now here's a cause I can support. I'd pay higher taxes to support our troops and rid the world of terrorists but NOT TO spread around to those unwilling to work while our troops are in harm's way to protect.

Oh please. A week before the election? Just the October surprise McCain was hoping for, perfect timing! IF you can't win an election on your own merit, just invade someone!

If every event that happens in October is labeled an October Surprise, is anyone really surprised?

Yet he is already blamed by people who disagree with it. Hmm. Maybe we should impeach him? Oh, wait, hes not even in office LOL.

I was driving home yesterday and me and john saw a car w a bumper sticker, it just said in all caps IMPEACH. Not a person, or anything, just the word. LOL I said,"so, is that a sticker that person just leaves on permanently, that way they never have to change a name???" LOL:p

Well there has been talk that if McCain continues to run behind in the polls, he is going to need an "October surprise" to pull out a win. Not my words....................

Every election there is talk, and fear and hype and suspicion and paranoia. Which one will you buy into? That every news event now might have effect on the election is not some kind of grand master plot, it's just the way it is when an election is close.

Sounds like they're baggin & tagging in Pakistan too! Again, about time.

Just gets better and better. I heard someone say or write, "well isn't that what Obama said he would do in Pakistan?! and he got critcized for it". May I point out that it's one thing to do that to a country that is not and never has been a friend to our country and has in fact been behind some attacks and fully supports those that do, but it's an entirely a different matter to take the same action on a known ally who happens to also be a nuclear power in a very unstable region. It's called measured response. If they hate you, your way of life and everything you stand for and blatently spit in your face at every opportunity, use the only means of communication they understand, unrestrained, overwhelming force. Squash them like the vermin they are or they will do the same to you when the opportunity presents itself. If they are an ally and have proven to be just that over the years, you have to use some measure of diplomacy. JMHO.

not that one has to be in a fire to know that it is hot....
but i often wonder who would be shouting 'shoot...shoot'' if they were in one of these countries and saw their family members taken or killed....
for those who travel or read and watch something other than the ny times and cnn....there is a world out there that hates us vehemently and prays for our destruction
