I've loved these for a long time BUT they are expensive ($250).

OR

Ariat® Iceberg Tall H2O = $159

Does anyone have either of these boots? Likes/Dislikes?

Buy me a pair, too! Lol, just kidding of course. I have been dying to get winter riding boots and I was actually looking at the Ariats you posted. I would go with the Ariats because Ariats have an amazing reputation and from looking at the bottom of the two boots, I think the Ariats would be less bulky and easier to move your feet around...I could just see the other ones getting stuck, lol.

Wow, if only I could afford something like that. I buy winter socks and wear my boots. Costs are better.
I like the first ones though. And ya, buy a pair for me...lol

My husband has the Brit Riders and really likes them. They are waterproof and VERY warm! They are a bit bulky, so he uses those curved side safety stirrups with them. They're $99.95, so much more affordable than Mountain Horse or Ariat :D.

"These boots will be comfortable in temps ranging from 75 degrees all the way down to 20 below zero!"

One nice thing is the top stretches wide enough to fit my FAT calves! lol His are big for a guy, around 18". Mine are 19.5, and these fit even over thick jeans for me, but they're small enough to start with to not be loose for someone with "normal" calves ;).

i am getting the mountain horse icerider paddock boots but they make them in tall boots too. As for the first one, i wouldn't pay that much money for casual riding.

I love the first ones, I saw them in the catalog and wanted them 'til I saw the price. I think I even checked e-bay for them but had no luck!!!

I ride in my muck boots with 3 pairs of socks and those little foot warmer thingys in them. I look so attractive! I also have a real problem with my hands, they go numb when it's cold. I have tried so many different kinds of gloves and hand warmers, nothing works. I love having the arena at the stable but it's always colder in there than outside! There are times we go out in the sun to get warm. I'm good on the coats and pants etc. but I really need something to keep my hands and feet warmer. If I thought those boots would keep me all nice and warm I'd save my pennies. I love the looks of them.

I tried some of the tall boots on and they where way to big in the calf for me which I know would have driven me crazy so I got the Ariat paddock boots and love them :)

I like paddock boots as well and thats all I have actually now ... but of course I wear half chaps with them. My paddock boots are "suppose" to be for winter but don't seem to keep my feet warm enough.

I'm still torn, I like the first ones still "i think" ... you can order them from backinthesaddle.com and also get $20 off but I know thats still alot ... but they look so cool with jeans and just going out as well ...

See?

I have what I think is the older version of those Ariats. I bought them in the beginning of the summer a few years ago so they were a great deal :) I LOVE them! I use them all winter and for the first time in my life my feet aren't freezing!

I love the way the first ones you posted looked, but I'd go with the Ariats :)

I've had the regular Ariat English paddock boots and they are the most comfortable boot I have ever worn in my entire life!
