Got away to relax....sort of. (pics)

Well, after working all day on Saturday, we got up early Sunday morning and headed for the cabin in the mountians. Hubby was going to paint the sheds, while I just relaxed......well that didn't happen...I couldn't let him do it all on his own, so I helped. Plus I enjoy painting, it's actually relaxing for me, wether it is painting pictures or walls.

The sheds that needed to be painted. My mother in law had done the trim on one of them, but had to tell her she did it backwards and we were going to have to put the base color on first. I felt bad, because she had spent an entire day doing the red....LOL

Finished sheds! It really didn't take too long, and we were able to spend a couple of hours just relaxing in the cool weather.

LOL..Vick...it's the FAMILY getaway place. It's really small, but a nice place to go relax. Just a small lot in a small neighborhood, but nice an quiet. We just got it last year.

Even if you didn't get to do much relaxing, I guess it feels good to get the painting done. I hate to paint, but I do love the fresh, clean look of a freshly painted room or building.
