You know my horses are pretty level headed, not afraid of much, let alone tarps..lol
Some of you have seen my red neck tarp, on the horse shed.
The other day, when we put it up, Myst had that side, she was fine with it, she dont care, it keeps the wind off, that works for her. When I open the gate to let the horses visit, it's at feeding time that they choose who gets what side. They dont fight about it, one just goes on one side, and if both are on the same side, we wait a few, the other will get it, and go through the gate, then we close the gate for the night. City is now on the tarped side.
When I look out my bedroom window, I can see who ever is on that side. I look out, see City messing with the tarp, and he then thinks picking up the log(via the bailing twine tied to the tarp)and dropping it is a fun thing to do. Um, hey City, you have toys, the tarp was NOT put there for your playing pleasure..lol..he is so funny some times. Im not sure he is a horse, but a big puppy dog for me to ride.
What is your non pic horse silly tale.

Whenever we're working on fencing, or anything with a bucket or barrow full of tools and supplies in the pasture, Cyn will systematically pull everything out of the bucket or barrow and play with it. And I do have pictures, but that's against the rules, I guess. ;) :p

LOL !! Silly City...My sons horse took off with my berry picking bucket this summer. I sat it down so I could get to some tasty berries. Turned my back for a second and heard a noise sure enough Darth had my bucket. When he seen I seen him he started to run off with my bucket. The turd.

They are funny!
My guys are into everything, if there is a wheelbarrow and a rake one will push the wheelbarrow and the other runs with the rake. One day I looked out and one was beating the other silly with the jolly ball and he was standing there enjoying it! They have a big blue barrel they roll around, the other day I found it in the middle of our private road, they rolled it under the fence, thankfully the neighbor didn't hit it with his big old truck!!!! There is a stick we have outside our barn, it's about 6' long. We looked out one day and Rompy was running with that, we took it away so he didn't brain Sarge with it. With those two everything is a toy, clothes, power tools [THEY LOVE POWER TOOLS], any kind of tools, real toys, fly masks, logs, they think everything is there for them to play with. They are very comical.
Yesterday my man went to fix fence and they both "helped"!

oursage, sounds like you need to teach them, if they are going to push the wheel barrow and play with the rake, to scoop while they are at it. Get the job done right..lol

HaHa Vick...Just two days ago we wish we had the camera rolling. The horses hear us at the barn and always just take off and run up to the shed, usually at full speed. They each have their own side they eat at.
Well this time at a full run...Buck decides to keep running on Mira's side , instead of going off to the right to his side. So at a full run...Mira pens back her ears, jets her head out towards Buck and kicks up both feet pointed at Buck. Buck, I am sure anticipated it because while he is running...he does some fast side steppin to get out of the way. Needless to say..Mira ate on her side and Buck went to his side.
We keep saying we must keep the camera rolling when they are runnin into the paddock!!!! We really are missing some great shots.
