My brother was struck by a vehicle on his way home from work this morning... it's a long shot.. but even if you're not in FL please myspace bulletin this etc.. thanks

Last night at roughly 1:00am my little brother was involved in a hit and run. He was riding his burgundy bicycle southbound on the west side of Alafaya. He was struck by a white, newer model, 4 door sedan type vehicle. He was IN the bike lane. He was paced for a distance and kicked the vehicle causing significant damage. The vehicle swerved and struck him causing him severe road rash and other injuries. The vehicle fled.

The vehicle should have damage to the passenger side and a lot of damage to the quarter panel above the front tire. Possible burgundy paint scraping from the bike.

Yes its UCF. He THINKS they had stickers for UCF.. he tried to look at the plates but, obviously, couldn't. I called UCF police and made a report and they'll be scoping the parking lots (they have actual law enforcement, with firearms (not rental cops), like at UF) 24/7 looking for the car.

If you were riding your bike home, or walking, and someone was intentionally swerving at you and mess with you in something that much bigger than you, I highly doubt you'd do any different. He couldn't jump the curb on that kind of bike, and was legally in the bike lane. They were being douche bags. He doesn't need to learn a lesson. Except possibly to buy a gun.

This isn't a kids fight at school. This is a honest person riding his bike home and some idiots who are living off mommy driving drunk and using a motor vehicle as a weapon...

Honestly if I ever find them their head will be through the hood of their car.

Yikes, sorry this happened to your brother. What a bunch of losers. People who drink and drive are just playing with fire and I think when people drink and drive they are useless. I have like about 0 tolerance for sh!t like that. Prayers up for your brother and I hope they find these little wieners and charge the the sh1t outta them...seriously.

UPDATE: Obviously I have been posting and investigating. I got a response from CL... apparently an indentical vehicle hit him on his SKATEBOARD last week. He can verify it is a newer model white 4 door toyota with several hispanic passengers + driver. This kid was lucky to be alive..he was paced, threated with the MV then hit last week. I am verifying the OPD report right now. Apparently this is turning into a situation where some "kids" are intentionally trying to physically harm people with their vehicle.

I will NOT stop until I find them. All of us tax payers can relate that we don't WANT to pay taxes to fund the medical care of my brother. Or other victims.

I will stop them before they kill someone...and my outlook remains the same. I have taken every avenue at this point.

Bottom line... I know the area.. .I know the bar my brother bounces at and cooks has regular patrons.

I will find him... and family is not replaceable... the damage I will do to this guys head as I shove it through the hood of his car, is fixable...

BL's I'm so sorry to hear about your brother. Your on the right path to finding them but please be careful. These morons could escalate to worse things. Let the PD handle all info you find.
