I just ordered a new washer/dryer combo and I absolutely CAN'T wait to get it. Our current w/d is about as old as dirt and although still working its just time. The one I'm getting washes and dries in the same tub so I just throw them in and don't take them out till the jobs done. Kewllll!!!! Its also ventless and runs on 120v instead of 220v so should be an energy saver as well. Heres a link to it in case you want to see it. Did I mention I was excited!?

I would be excited too! It's next on our "big purchase" list. Ours are on the last leg!

I'd never heard of a washer/dryer that does it all in one! How nice is that??!?!

I know! Isn't it amazing?! I read the reviews and seems everyone that got one loves it. Even when they had negatives to say it was minor and they all gave it a 4 or better scoring. I originally saw one like it on one of those home decorating shows and have been facinated every since. Which ADDS to my excitement of actually getting it! lol

The price is a bit  but then when you think of getting the 2 for 1... and the convenience it doesn't seem so bad.

The only thing I'm not sure I would like is the 4 hour start to finish (wash & dry) time. But then, if I'm honest, when do I ever put stuff RIGHT into the dryer from the washer anyways? lol.

True, I was a bit worried about that but if you read the specs it really says the total time depends on the weight of the clothes. I figure the 4.5 hrs is probably for a pretty heavy load. Plus you can set it to start whenever you want so it finishes when your ready for it to be, like when you get home from work. The price is why I'm just now getting it! lol But yea your getting 2 for 1, less electricity use and you can put it anywhere in your house cause it doesn't use a vent.

Sounds like a good idea but it sure wouldn't work for us. Nine hours for two loads kind of takes all day. We often have a day where we do 5 loads of laundry. At least my wife does on her day off. I usually don't do more than one or two but having to wait 4 hours to start a second one doesn't sound like it would work for me either.

We have a new very efficient front load that takes almost an hour for a load but it spins so much water out of them that the dryer takes less time than the washer.

If you wanted to could you stop it and hang the clothes on the line to dry? We do a lot of things on the line to save on electricity during the summer.

I'm sure you could Loves, It'll be interesting to see how my energy it saves though. May be enough that it wouldn't matter.

Awesome. I'd be excited too.
I'm with Ranger though, sometimes I do 5 loads in one day...the laundry in our house seems never ending, I do a lot of it.
It looks great. I'm happy for you. Mine is getting ready to quit on me. Hope it lasts until I'll get back to work.
