First - I rememberd to take my camera to the Hallowe'en rehearsal today! Pics @ bottom :)
Sunday was an eventful day :)
First off, between clearing the fourth remove and serving the fifth and final remove, a lady at my table fainted. I happened to be on the second-farthest-from-the-door table with a whole host of busybodies who wanted to help poor Fainted Lady. We sent for first aid - this lady wasn't coming round any time soon - and tried to get our table sat down again. The whole banquet was brought to a standstill until a paramedic from the local hospital arrived to take care of her.
Once she was removed and taken care of (oof, that sounds a bit nasty :P)(she was fine, she just couldn't come back into the hall) the banquet resumed and it was business as usual.
So, basically, I got home an hour later than usual - and since we turned back the clocks, I was thus theoretically going to bed at 1am.
Anyhoo...
HALLOWE'EN :D
Oh yes, I have the kid's banquet on Thursday and the adult's banquet on Friday. We've been rehearsing Saturday, Sunday pre-banquet, and today, as well as pre-banquet on Thurs too. I'm really looking forwards to it - hearing the speeches, it'll be a right laugh! We're singing "Little Shop of Horrors", but adapted to "Banquet Hall of Horrors", complete with a dance routine; adapted "Addams Family" ("Lumley Family"); adapted "My Favourite Things"; "Double Double" (from the 3rd Harry Potter film); "Lily of Lumley", of course; "the Monster Mash"; and last, but certainly NOT least, the Time Warp :D
So...I know, you've been waiting :P here's the work piccies:

Um, yes :P you should see when the lights come on and she waves :)
xD I was following a bloke up because I had no idea where to go...he managed to run the whole way up without holding onto the banister! He must be an old-timer
Even when you have to deal with fainting old ladies and slightly weird stag night guys?

I never really liked little shop til I did this version...maybe it's because it's so crazy :P

Well if I get this job in Focus the most exciting I can hope for is someone accidentally stabbing through their foot with a pitchfork. Yes, it has happened!

Nahh, it was only one bowl. One of the other new girls dropped and smashed all 25 apple crumbles on her second night, so seeing as it's my 8/9th night, I'm apparently a long-lasting one.
When I did, however, everyone heard and the whole banquet hall roared with appreciation :S loll @ my face. I curtsied to the crowd and cleared it all up :) 'sno biggie.
Ohh, Focus, now I remember.
Lol, ghetto xD
I like DIY stores. I could browse for ages...especially in the paint...and handles...
Yeah I'm weird

xD now I'm thinking Mr Weasley from Harry Potter...batteries n such things...
IKEA just pwns at everything. I loved Alan Davies' bit on QI about Ikea: "notice how they have no windows so all time is lost and you can go in one day and come out a week later and have no idea!"
It's so true :P
I quite fancy a flatpack house. Do IKEA do those?

Flatpack houses - they actually do! Complete with furniture! I mean, c'mon, how cool is that?
'"Yeah, we got a great deal on our house; we got it in the IKEA winter sale. John struggled to put it together with just a screwdriver mind"' :p
Thanks for that Kitty xD Batteries are just so....useful. Even when they've run out :)
QI = love :) ROFL
If you put BBC2 on in 15 mins 'Have I Got News For You' is on! :D Woo! And Top Gear is back on Sunday! And Most Haunted Live till 2am! :) I love british TV!

OMG british TV rules. I mean, I've been to various places abroad...so excusing the countries where the TV is in a foreign language, it's usually all adverts or rubbish programmes.
We definitely win at comedy, if nothing else.
Do you like Mock the Week? I'm going to see Russell Howard for my birthday in June :D I'm beyond excited!
Can't wait for Top Gear, that's like, father/daughter bonding time for dad and I. Plus it's hilarious.
They sell them with furniture? OMG wow does the furniture come inside the house? Imagine if it did and you had, like, a pop-up house.
Or inflatable house.
I can see it now...

I've actually got all of Clarksons books :) Hammond is like...sex on legs. And James May...well....yeah.
I don't think the furniture comes inside the house ;)
Inflatable house...wow. You'd be out of breath after blowing that up!
'Have I Got News For You' is now on! :D

See, now dad's watching a Mock The Week re-run on Dave :) ah, Dave. *strokes the channel*
We've cancelled the jealousy out again by you going to actually see Mock the Week. Now that's cool :)
I preferred Hammond with shorter hair, but I believe that's because he's hiding a scar from his crash on the back of his neck? Ho hum.
Imagine James May as your grandad :P
Or your driving instructor.
No, Clarkson as your driving instructor.
No, all three in the car at once whilst you're leanrin to drive.
Speaking of which...I can't learn to drive til I'm 18?? What's up with that?? Damn laws on driving...
