I found it in one magazine and week later I have one too. Yay! :)
It's not quite finished. Still needs to be sanded down and varnished. I want it a little darker.

Thanks everyone! I just read all the responces to my husband. He was smiling. :)

Ann - Remember we don't wear shoes in the house and I don't allow leaving them by the door.
So I want to put shoes in it. I don't like the shelves we use because they are white, don't match and there isn't enough space for boots; it always looks messy.

My hubby just got done making me a set of shelves and aske for another project. I am showing him this and telling him that can be my Christmas present.

I love it!!Without the dividers that would be a pretty cool tack trunk :) I think it will look very nice as a shoe holder. It will hide them away while giving people a place to sit and put them back on! Good job hubby...way to put deposits in the love bank, lol.

Those dividers slide in and out.
Lol "the love bank" is pretty full - ever since I've broken my wrists he's been taking such good care of me. I owe him big time!
