We've got a colic at the barn. I'm here now with the vet and its been about 45 min they are tubing him now. Please just send prayers or good vibes.

No thank goodness it isn't Prado! It's leopold. he's grazing now and has stopped going down. But still no poop or farts.

It's 11:25 pm here n my trainer/bo has got a horse show to judge up in TN tomorrow. So my friend (19) is going to be left alone w him soon. She hasn't had good outcomes with the last 2 colics she's had :( she loves leopold too. I hope he pulls thru. The vet said he's done everything he can for tonight n it's up to God. :( he's got some gut sounds and his gums look good but he's been down for an hour grunting.

Things have gotten worse. They are trying to get in touch w the owner (lives is mass) to okay transporting him to UF. :(

As of 2am the trip to TN was canceled for the BO and he was taken about 45min away (I'm assuming to better facilities) and apparently was doing better.

I'm supposed to go see CA today with my friend but when she texted me last night at 2 she said she wasn't sure she was gonna be able to make it..I'm sure she's exhausted. So as of right now (8:20am) I haven't heard from her and I don't want to text or call just in case she's finally getting some rest. As soon as I have an update I'll let you all know. I really appreciate your prayers and good vibes.

Just make sure someone is keeping an eye on him for the next couple of days. I know that when Al needed surgery he appeared to be better and in fact the vet had called to tell me he looked like he was out of the woods as he went through the wee hrs without needing meds. Within a half hour of that call she called back and said if surgery was an option, it needed to be done ASAP. So just keep an eye on him over the next couple of days. Good luck.
