View Full Version : Should My Signature Have a Border?

Cloedoll made the most beautiful siggy for me!
I'm curious on everyone's opinion, though. Would it look nice with a border, or should it be left alone?
Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated!

I'm all for keeping siggys a reasonable size, but that one is REALLY small. ;)

ROFL - I was thinking the same thing, WB! Great minds think alike... and so do ours!
What kind of border are you picturing? Just a solid line or some sort of design?

Thinking some kind of solid-- if you could se it in full size you'd see what I mean.
Tried resizing it in Photobucket, and it won't let me size it any bigger!
Anyone got any ideas?
It comes up 449x131 on the puter, but when I put it on here, this is what I get!

Thanks shynbvs. I think it might be an idea- just need to get this thing resized first, and I'm kind of at a standstill- if I mess with it without knowing what I'm doing, then I lose it on here altogether for a bit, and you can't see it at all then, lol!
Try saving it and putting it on Photobucket in the original size? Maybe that will work. Then copy and paste the code into the siggy box. :p

I think a solid line border would look great :)

Tried that, and when I pasted the code in here, It said invalid code, lol!
Maybe it's adding stuff I don't need?

Try to use the signature upload tool here, and use the original size she made. The software here will shrink it to fit.
Oh - nevermind... I see that is uploaded here. Maybe hubby's got the size parameters set too small! He's due home shortly... I'll have him look into it.

Thanks, WB- I won't mess with anything until then.

There. :D
Now that's still hotlinked to photobucket. I do wonder if there isn't something hubby needs to do with the settings on loading it directly. I haven't noticed if anyone else has a good sized one they uploaded directly.

I like the borders - it makes it look like an elegant picture frame.

I'm just wondering if it will interfere with the text on the outside, though?
42many- you have the same thought pattern as I do on this one, lol!

Now that I see it, I wouldn't put another border on it.

It would probably mess up the text, wouldn't it. Don't want to do that!
