Wanted to share, as I have not been on here much between working 50-60 hour work weeks, moving, horses, and life I have not been around, life is just well .. life.

I have made the long hard decision it is time for Shy Shy to cross over. There are many reasons why:
Her tongue hanging out in freezing weather not good, she has bite pieces off of it.
Her arthritis is making her sore
22 quartz of grain that a vet and nutritionist designed for her is just not doing it.
There are many other reasons but these are a few.

So Saturday at 5pm Shy will cross over the rainbow bridge.

This has not been a easy decision, but its one that I have made over 4 months, I am sad but at peace, Shy can't make it through another winter, as much as I want her to, its not fair to her at all.

Take care my friends, visit her site, I will have more photos up this weekend.

It is a very difficult decision to make, but one that must be made when our friends cannot have any quality of life any longer. My sympathy to you and RIP Shy.

I'm very sorry, it's never easy to loose a loved one. This is a bad week for horses, I've had 2 friends have to put their horses down this week and one horse is in the horsey hospital. It's horrible. My thoughts are with you.

God bless you for loving her enough to do what is best for her. She will cross over in dignity and with all your love. You are in my thoughts and prayers

It's such a tough decision to make, but like the others said.... you love her enough to do what is best for her.
I am so sorry for your loss.

I know what you are going though just a little bit. We've recently lost a rescue but we didn't have to go through the agonizing decision you've had to go through, ours died due to an tragic accident. I'm so sorry for your loss. Shy-Shy spent the end of her life in a wonderful place full of people who love her and she gave you a beautiful baby. I know you will miss her and I'm sure she'll live on in Blessing! Big hugs!

So sorry to hear about your beloved Shy Shy. :( Making a decision like that is not an easy task.. Hopefully you will now be able to take a deep breath knowing she is pain free.
