I was supposed to have the right arm in cast for few more weeks. I was so surprised when the Dr. said I look really good and will not need them any longer. They pulled the pins out too.
And...............I'm allowed to go back to work! I called my boss and they are looking forward to see me on Monday, next week.
I can't wait. I'm very excited.
I cannot lift anything over 3 lb. And I'm still pretty week. But I'm allowed to work.:happydance:
My husband took a video of them removing my casts and pins.

Thank you everyone! Yes, I'm very excited!
I know WB 3lb, is nothing. I couldn't quite over do it. I'm literally as weak as a little kid. If I tried to lift any more I wouldn't manage to hold on to it. I would just drop it. Crazy you tube has maintance done, so I still don't have the video up. At the end you will be able to see the range of my movement. It's minimum. It doesn't matter how much I would try, it simply doesn't go. I'm supposed to see therapist and exercise. I know it will take time and I’m still very sore. But man, those casts were just plain uncomfortable.

That's great to see those casts are off! Hopefully, therapy will be able to help you quite a bit.
You have the same wrist splints that I do for carpal tunnel. Those are good ones, and should help quite a bit.
I can see now why those pins drove you nuts!

Thanks!
It didn't really hurt it was just a gross feeling, quite uncomfortable. Especially when I could feel it touching my bone. It started hurting some as soon as she got them out. Still it was nothing compared to how I hurt before. I was glad to have them removed. They were really bothering me. It kept tugging on my skin and I couldn't scratch when it started itching - that just about drove me nuts, lol.
Yeah I'll be careful. But, I have been exercising and I can already move much more than yesterday! I really don't feel like visiting the therapist. I think I can do it by myself. My husband won't even discuss it with me, so I have to go at least once.
