That you never pay to much attention to what goes on in countries other than the ones you hear the most about like iraq and afghan until you have a true reason to watch the news or read about what is going on.

My son Kurt just left yesterday for South Korea..Being the worried parent or spouse of a soldier the outside world becomes your life..

I had hoped that Knowing that he was going to South Korea would be less worriesome until I read "North Korea Threatens to Turn South Korea Into 'Debris'"

Indeed, there are lots of dangers in the world other than Iraq and Afghanistan. And our troops are there also. Bless you and your son and keep you both safe while he is gone.

Thank you for your blessing and prayers... Kurt is my baby boy even though he is 19.. I wanted a house full of boys and out of 4 children Kurt is my only son.. He has always been my rock and Maddison and Jessica's hero..

My oldest, Amber who is 21 has been out of the house a few years though never far from her brother is having the hardest time with him being gone.. They were more like best friends than brother sister
